If you suspect that you have been infected with coronavirus, you can take a home test.

Book an appointment for a coronavirus test taken by healthcare if you have symptoms consistent with a coronavirus infection and:

  • you are pregnant or if
  • you work in customer or patient services in social and health care, or if
  • you work at any job in a 24-hour facility for elderly care or services for the disabled

How to book an appointment

If you need a coronavirus test taken by healthcare services, fill in the coronavirus symptom checker in the Omaolo service.

  • After filling in the symptom checker, you can either book an appointment directly online or you will receive instructions to wait for a professional to contact you.
  • In Omaolo, a guardian can also book an appointment for a child under the age of 15.

If you do not have access to the Internet, call your local health station. Always make an appointment for getting a coronavirus test.

Coronavirus self-tests

If you have mild symptoms of viral infection, you can take an antigen home test. The home test results are more reliable if the test is repeated on several consecutive days or every 2–3 days.

  • In a life-threatening emergency, call the emergency number 112. When you call, mention your infection.
